Title: No Title | Yushan, Taiwan | July 18, 2014
The picture itself was not really taken at the summit, but on my way hiked up. It was a mid life crisis-ish thing, I think, when I had this unstopable urge to step my feet on the highest peak of Taiwan. The long process of permission application (took me 4 months, some waited for over a year), the people that "come and go" intended to join this trip, and a great deal of time and financial investmet I had to make for the sake of being well prepared, really drained me.
In the end of the day...like Sir Elton John said...."the aching legs that often told us...it's all worth it".
Very much worth it. And a whole lot more.
Photo of the Yushan 3952 MASL summit is here. I didn't get to take many photos, especially in the last km, which was the best part actually, for I was busy keeping myself alive ::grin::.
*Have my mind set to another peak. Some times next year. Not in this country, though. Wishfully thinking it out into reality*
