Lisbon in black and white
20 - 27 September 2014
I was there for a full 6 day conference. My free time was only a few moments before sunset and after that. Tried to enjoy the city early in the morning -like before sunrise early- but, a few minutes out, two thefts attempted on me. Back to my hostel immediately. Nevertheless, here are some of the photos  I took.

A good deal dormitory hostel. Mixed room, there were couple of nights I was the only female occupants.

A harbor 10 minute-walk from hostel.

Felt like the universe composed this just for me to take photo of.

Segway is apparently a thing there.

Somewhere in Belem area.

Somewhere in Belem area.

Having no spatial cognition and no sense of direction - I didn't know where I was, most of the time.

Not really Lisbon: Sitra.

Not good at taking photo of people, never I intended to do so, but they kept appearing in my frame.

Not really Lisbon: National History Museum in Sitra.

Not really Lisbon: Moorish Castle, Sitra.

Wonder if 4 of them knew each other. Not really Lisbon: at Pena Castle.

Bad**s lady.

See. I just wanted to photograph the train station classic architecture..when suddenly they pose for me..not.

About to take first train to Porto.

It's all about sun, for me.

Boys...

Livraria Bertrand: oldest bookstore "alive".

Couples..couples are everywhere..Kind of made me think: "mmmokay..." *the not so perk of traveling solo*

Tech weave.

What!

Lined in for the best egg tart in Lisbon.

Random act.

Skate away.

Took it over dinner. I had kebab, btw.

For a moment there I was in love. So good I cried and bought their CD.

Another street I passed by everyday there.

Look at all these drinks I would never drink. Settle for a soda while waiting for a Fado show in a local bar. [Note: practically the only photo of me during the trip]

The Fado show.

Not sure what's going on here. Many youngsters "dressed up" that night.

There's always this side.

Passing tram.

Oldest tram in Lisbon.

Oldest tram in Lisbon.

Graffiti city.

The street I went through every night to reach my hostel from nearest Metro station.
